[創意設計 / 藝術創作]：驚人的書本雕刻—本質的回歸

加拿大藝術家Guy Laramee 運用舊的百科全書，雕塑出驚人的地景和

細緻的結構。塗上顏料的雕塑，將舊書又賦予了新的生命、新的使命，

將其轉變成高原、山巒、石窟、庭園呈現在眾人眼前。

 

以下是他的自述：

我將書雕刻出風景，將其塗成浪漫的地景。

I carve landscapes out of books and I paint Romantic landscapes. 

 

如山一般高的知識轉變為他們的本質—山。

Mountains of disused knowledge return to what they really are: mountains.

 

 

 

將它們削去一些就成了丘陵，而後他們轉變成平原就如同沒發生過一般。

They erode a bit more and they become hills.Then they flatten and 

become fields where apparently nothing is happening.

Piles of obsolete encyclopedias return to that which does not need 

to say anything, that which simply IS. 

 

  

而我們所知道的一切，我們所認為的全部，都在雲和霧之間消逝……

Fogs and clouds erase everything we know, everything we think we are.
